Oregon Camping Trip to Bell-y Acres, Page 1 of 2.

Fourth of July, 2008 on the 100 Acre Wood - first family vacation since 2004. (the road trips to Roswell and ABQ don't count)

Steve and Samni are very close friends who live in San Carlos and invited us up to their property to hang out, meet their family and celebrate. Samni's kids: EricSr is married to Shaunna (bear with me, I'm not sure of the spellings) and their children are EricJr (4) and Brayden (barely walking).

Jodi is Steve's daughter from his first marriage, Wyatt (3 I think) is her son. Then there is me, Pam and Sean (8). For Sean, it was not only his first time camping (yes, we are bad parents), but also his first time being the oldest kid in a group. There has been no clamoring for a little brother since our return.

Also pictured are Pam and Greg whose last name I forget.

Our camp is to the right, Steve hauled all our gear up in the back of his truck. Jodi stayed in the on-site tent to the left.

Our hosts laid down 6" of sand on each site, such excellent friends!

 Wyatt, Sean and Eric create battles and battle on the ATV, easily the most popular object for the boys next to the sand pile.

Samni shoots the .22. First time I'd shot a .22 with a scope. Catching Samni ejecting with the 9mm Samni displays the quilt she made at the John Day quilt place Samni by the fire, no flash, no tripod either.
